Recently I have been on the organizing kick, like almost everyone else right now HA, and I am feeling hopeful and excited!! Inspired by Marie Kondo and more recently the amazing girls from The Home Edit. If you do not have their book, you need to grab it asap!!! I will be referencing a few of their rules
I always get so many questions on my throw pillows. I honestly have a bunch of pillow covers that I have purchased over the years and keep the same inserts out on the couch. That is a great way to switch out pillows for the seasons or just a fresh look without breaking the bank!!
My two all time favorite places to shop for our home have got to be Anthropologie and Serena and Lily!!! Obviously, Target is up there two, but the others are more of a splurge. Like, if I had an unlimited budget I would fill my home with things from these two stores. Both brands offer items that are unique yet charming!! Plus, they are top of the line quality, so you know you're investing in something good when you make a purchase.
Does anyone else hate taking down Christmas decorations?? I makes me so sad! There is so much joy and hype while putting it all up in November and then when you take it all down you realize it is all over. Christmas decor just instantly make a home so cozy so sometimes when we take it all down I feel like my home is so dull and sad. So, this year I am focusing on keeping the coziness alive throughout the winter!! Sharing the best tips for you to do this too!!!:)
In my mind, Christmas is all about Christ and home and gathering together with family and those most important to us. This togetherness is always set around food and a table. Since having my own home, I always try to make our table really special (and practical) to create a warm inviting space for everyone to gather around.
